Remedial Educational support The Extra Lesson approaches learning and developmental challenges through individualized lessons, which support the whole child through movement and art exercises based in the Waldorf philosophy of education. The goal is to integrate the developmental processes of the first seven years of life in order to prepare a child to develop proper cognitive faculties. When these processes, such as the stages of crawling, crossing the midline and integrating early reflexes are incomplete, learning and behavioral difficulties can arise.
Aurore is a graduate of the Remedial Education program at Rudolf Steiner College and has a Master of Arts in Waldorf Education. She offers Extra Lesson at Santa Cruz Waldorf School and is available for Extra Lesson and assessments. |
